Current Project

One of my current projects is a cabled scarf. I'm using Cascade 220 yarn, 100% peruvian highland wool. Hand wash only. I'm using size 8 needles for this. Here's a picture of the work-in-progress.

Comfy Lap Rug

A soft, comfortable, cozy lap rug. Made with Patons SWS Yarn, 70% Wool, 30% Soy, Colour : Natural Navy. A self-patterning yarn makes gorgeous striping shades and soft on the hands too. Made with size 10.5 circular needles. The brown patch in the middle of the blanket with incorporated with Lamb's Pride Worsted yarn from Brown Sheep Company. 85% Wool, 15% Mohair.
This pair of socks has a rib pattern and is slightly longer than the maroon one.

Now that I am hooked on to socks, I decided to make some for my mom. Made two pairs and hopefully it will be comfortable for her. These are made with Wildflower D.K. Yarn 51% Cotton, 49% Acrylic, Machine Wash. The yarn was made in Holland. Knitted with size 5 double pointed needles.

My first pair of socks finally got completed. Here they are in all their glory. The background isn't great. I should have chosen a lighter background. :-(
