On Memorial Day weekend, on a day trip to Milwaukee, I managed to make a little progress on a baby blanket I'm knitting with leftover yarn from my old projects. Another discovery was a yarn shop called Knitting Knook, off I-43 on the way to Milwaukee. The shop has a great selection of yarns, buttons and great books. As my luck would have it, they were having a 40% off sale. And I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to add to my yarn stash.

Come to think of it, I really don't have much of a yarn stash. Over the last four years, I have managed to make a bunch of different projects from all the yarn stash that Mary had given me. Some of the yarn I had bought, the synthetic mix ones from Walmart had been made into scarves which went to the Church. All I have left is the yarn left over from the last two or three projects and the new purchases I've made in the last three months. Hurray for accomplishment.
